a new name, the Sunrise Cafe Diner,

Southfield, is expected to re-open on
Saturday, April 3 ... Its look will be
that of a '50s-style diner, with seating
for 12 more ... They'll still serve the

JOKE DEPT. ... The barkeeper at a
downtown tavern in Brooklyn kept a
pet parrot ... One Passover evening a
drunk spotted it, climbed atop a stool
with a "Polly want a cracker" matzah
in one hand and his drink on the bar,
and then tried to catch hold of it ...
"Scram, landlubber," shrieked the
enraged parrot. What's the big idea?"
