and Harold .Platt. Danielle's great-
grandmother is Fritzie Kohn.
Rabbi Karmi Gross of Akiva
Hebrew Day School and Mrs.
Ruthie Goldberg of Young Israel
devoted their time, wisdom and
kindness to Danielle and her family
throughout this memorable event.
Danielle was blessed to have fam-
ily and friends from the United
States and Israel with her to help
celebrate this wonderful occasion.
Danielle is an honor student at
Akiva in Lathrup Village. She enjoys
dance, skiing, music, drama, camp
and playing on her school basketball
team. Danielle has given tzedakah to
various organizations both locally
and in Israel since she has been
young. She volunteers her time to
Federation and to JEFF projects on
a yearly basis.

Brian Scott Globerman will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, March
27, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Brian's
parents, Bonnie
and Marc
Globerman, his
brother Blair, aunt
Adrea Benkoff and
cousin Amanda Benkoff will also
participate in the service. Brian is
the grandson of Albert and Soril
Globerman, Marilyn Benthal and
Joseph LaFountain.
Brian is an honor roll student at
Walled Lake Middle School in
Walled Lake and attends Adat
Shalom Hebrew School, where he
successfully completed his 13
mitzvot program. Brian is a Hall of
Fame math pentathlete. He enjoys
golf, soccer, skiing, football and
hockey.

Jeffrey David Baskin will be called
to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, March
27, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom.
Celebrating along
with his friends
will be his parents,
Diane Baskin and
Debra and Sheldon Baskin, and his
sister Jill. Proud grandparents are
Jeanne and Cy Birnbaum and Edith
and Bernard Hoffman. Jeff is the
grandson of the late Jessica and
Harold Baskin.
