Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Rachel Nicole Pikstein will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, March 27,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. She
is the daughter of
Laura and Marty
Pikstein and the sis-
ter of Aaron. Proud
grandmothers are
Helen Pikstein of
Oak Park and Geri
Wright of N. Ft.
Myers, Fla. Rachel is also the grand-
daughter of the late Herman Pikstein
and the late Tom Wright.
Rachel is an honor student at
Abbott Middle School in Wesr
Bloomfield. She plays the clarinet and
enjoys animals, horseback riding,
reading and Pokemon.
Her mitzvah projects include vol-
unteering her time and therapy ani-
mals to bring joy to the residents of
Fleischman Center and helping out in
the religious school office. A visit to
Children's Hospital in Detroit to
donate stuffed animals to the children
will complete a fulfilling year of
mitzvot.

Michael Brett Pultusker will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, March
27, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. His
parents, Jo Robin
Davis and William
Pultusker, and his
sister Rachel will
participate in the
ceremony.
Michael is the
grandson of Miriam and Lewis Davis
and Samuel Pultusker. He is the
great-grandson of Margaret Leebove.
Michael is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. He enjoys mountain bik-
ing, in-line hockey and computers.
Working at Yad Ezra was the most
meaningful mitzvah project in which
he participated.
