Sidney and Edith Bernstein of
Rochester Hills proudly announce the
engagement of their son Paul
Bernstein to Whitney Friesen, daugh-
ter of William and Kay Friesen, for-
merly of Grosse Pointe now residing
in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Paul earned a master's degree in
social work at Wayne State University
in 1993. He is employed as a school
social worker in the Lamphere School

District in Madison Heights. Whitney
earned a master's degree in counseling
at Oakland University in 1993. She is
employed as a clinical case manager at
Value Options in Southfield.
Paul and Whitney live in their
newly purchased home in Royal Oak.
A wedding is scheduled for June at
Congregation Shir Tikvah in Troy.
The reception will be at Addison
Oaks.
