YITZCHAK "IZZIE" STAY, 87, of
Israel, died March 5. Mr. Stay moved
from Toronto to Israel in 1933 to pursue
his Zionist dream. He was one of the orig-
inal pioneers of Kibbutz Degania B and
was actively involved with Haganah.
Mr. Stay is survived by his daughters
and son-in-law, Avital Cohen of Israel,
Gula and Gabi Tichner of Israel; son
Chaim Stay of Israel; grandchildren Gal,
Advah, Nimrod, Efrat;Neta, Yaniv and
Vardit of Israel, Ron Stay of West
Bloomfield; great-grandchildren Jordan,
Brett, Ethan, Leah and Noa.
Mr. Stay was the beloved husband of
the late Bertha (Freeman) Stay.
Contributions may be made to the
charity of one's choice.

EDITH STEINBERG, 87, of Southfield,
died March 11. Mrs. Steinberg was a vol-
unteer at Sinai Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Joan and Allan Winniman of
Grand Rapids; grandchildren Susan and
Brad Allen, Dana Winniman and his
fiancee Brigette Brannan; great-grandchil-
dren, Carly and Jason Allen; brother and
sister-in-law, Marry and Shirley Nastir;
loving sisters-in-law, neices and nephews.
Mrs. Steinberg was the beloved wife of
the late Charles Steinberg and the loving
mother of the late Ted Steinberg.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be directed to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements by
the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

JEANNETTE STONE, 91, of Scottsdale,
Ariz., formerly of Detroit, died March 12.
She is survived by her son, Donald
Stone of Chicago; daughter and son-in-
law Barbara and Raymond Zeichik of
Scottsdale, Ariz.; sister Dorothy Strehl of
St. Clair Shores; grandchildren Evelyn and
Gerald Lewinson, Allen and Cheryl
Zeichik, Richard and Colleen Zeichik, Ari
Stone, Stephanie Stone; great-grandchil-
dren Edward Lewinson, Samuel Lewinson,
Suzanne Lewinson, Timothy Zeichik,

GOLDIE WASSERMAN, 84, of

Farmington Hills, died March 11.

Brad and Marcy Wasserman, Susan and

Royal Oak, died March 8. Mr. Weinberg
was the manager of The Incredible Spud
at Tally Hall.
He is survived by his son, Justin Scott
Weinberg; daughter Pamela Beth
Weinberg; parents David and Evelyn
Weinberg of Southfield; brother and sis-
ter-in-law Martin and Suzanne Weinberg
of Huntington Woods.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

Heart Association and the Kidney
