Andrea Lee Rosner and Nelson Henry
Najer were recently married at
Congregation Beth Shalom. Rabbi
David A. Nelson from Beth Shalom
and Cantor Earl Berris from B'nai
Moshe officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Marilyn N. Rosner of West
Bloomfield and the late Wallace R.
Rosner. The groom is the son of
Leonard and Ruth Najer of
Southfield.
Judy Rosner, sister-in-law of the
bride, was the maid of honor. The
bridesmaids were close friends Cat
Kaner from Boston, Michelle Keys,
Alisa Grossman and Shari Morgan.
Kevin Smith was the best man and
Marty Keys was the groomsman. The
chuppah holders were Sheldon and
Roberta Greenblatt, sister and broth-
er-in-law of the bride; Becky Najer
and Ted Winekoff, sister and friend of
the groom; Dr. Frank and Esther
Rosner, brother and sister-in-law of
the bride; and Gidon and Laurie Bar-
Gil, sister and brother-in-law of the
groom from Israel.
Also participating in the ceremony
were the groom's grandmother Annie
Goldstein and Tom Nessel, compan-
ion to Marilyn and part of the family.
The bride received her master's
degree in social work administration
from Wayne State University and is
the assistant executive director of
Jewish Apartments and Services in
Oak Park and West Bloomfield. The
groom attended Lawrence Institute of
Technology and is a database adminis-
trator for MIC, a national computer
and technology consulting firm.
Andrea and Nelson honeymooned
in Breckenridge, Colo., and now
reside in Commerce Township.
