JOHN ALEXANDER, 71, former
Detroiter of Toronto, died March 8.
He is survived by his wife, Lily; daugh-
ters Katie and Maggie; son-in-law Ron;
grandsons David and Alexander; mother
Beatrice "Honey" Alexander; sister and
brother-in-law Helen and Gerald Rowin.

NATHALIE BIELFIELD, of Southfield,
died March 5. Mrs. Bielfield was a member
of Congregation Shaarey Zedek and
Sisterhood.
She is survived by her daughter and son-
in-law, Linda and Stephen Bloom of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren Karen and
Dr. Randall Jacobs, Joanne and Dr. Jerrold
Fisher; great-grandchildren, Ashlee Lauren
Jacobs and Matthew Harrison Jacobs.
Mrs. Bielfield was the beloved wife of the
late Harvey Bielfield. Contributions may be

LILLIAN BRENNER, 87, of Grand
Rapids, died March 7.
She is survived by her brother, Simon
Plafkin; children Sharon Brenner, Melvin
(Lynn) Brenner, Rosalie (Wayne) McVay;
grandchildren Barry Brenner, Rueben
Brenner, Darrel Brenner, Laurel Walsh,
Cheryl Naus, Ross Williamson, Ann

dren.She was preceded in death by her hus-
band, Alvin and son Leonard.

SAM CRAMER, 82, of Southfield, died
March 3. Mr. Cramer was an industrial
laundry sales manager. He was very active
with Congregation Ahavas Israel in Grand
Rapids.
Mr. Cramer is survived by his daughter
and son-in-law, Jody and Roger Nordeen of
Ft. Wayne, Ind.; son and daughter-in-law
Robert and Carol Cramer of Troy; grand-
child Sasha Nordeen. He was the beloved
husband of the late Mildred Cramer.

ETHEL DISNER, 84, of West Bloomfield,
died March 5. Mrs. Disner was a scrap iron
and metal bookkeeper. She was a member of
Na'amat and Hadassah.
Mrs. Disner is survived by her husband,

Marshall and Barbara Disner of West
Bloomfield, David and Karen Disner of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren Robert and
Karen Disner, Lisa and Mark Pinsky,

sister-in-law Donald and Rae Sharpman of
West Bloomfield; sister Pearl Leinoff of

Mildred Robinson and the dear sister-in-law
of the late Irving Disner, the late Harold
Disner and the late Edward Disner.

ANN DONESON, 77, of Farmington
Hills, died March 5.
Mrs. Doneson was member of the
Birmingham/Bloomfield Art Association,
Jewish Women International, Sinai
Auxiliary, World Jewish Congress and a life
member of Hadassah. She was a volunteer
for 13 years at Desert Hospital in Palm
Springs, Calif. She was a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek and its
Sisterhood.
Mrs. Doneson is survived by her hus-
band, Jules Doneson; daughters and sons-in-
law Davida and Warren Robinson, Shira
and Steven Klein; grandchildren Ruby, Ian
and Avery Robinson, Ariella and Etan Klein;
brother and sister-in-law William and
Maxine Saulson of Phoenix. She was the
dear sister of the late Manton Saulson.
BETTY FISCHER, 94, of Southfield, died
March 3.
She is survived by her daughters and son-
in-law, Rosalind Weiss of West Palm Beach,
Fla., Ruby and Sheldon Fridson of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren Sandy
Gilbert, Allan Fridson, Barbara and Jeff
Vinton, Jody and Michael Seidman; great-
grandchildren, Jake Vinton, Max Seidman.
Mrs. Fischer was the beloved wife of the late
Julius Fischer.

STEVEN M. FISH, 68, of West
Bloomfield, died March 5.
Mr. Fish graduated from Centre College
of Kentucky and Columbia University. He
was a corporal in the Adjutant General
Corps from 1952-1954, serving time in
Korea. He worked on product planning for
the Edsel for Ford Motor Company. In
1968 he opened Fish Travel Agency.
Mr. Fish was president and head of
the Sunday school of Temple Beth Jacob
and president of the Brotherhoods of
Temples Beth El and Beth Jacob. He
was among the founding members of
Birmingham Temple. He was president
of the Metropolitan Detroit Federation
of Reform Synagogues and on the
regional board of the North East Lakes
Council of the UAHC. He received the
Lamed Vav award by the UAHC Fund
for Reform Judaism. He taught at
Henry Ford Community College and
was on the board of the Michigan Ballet
Theater.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Fish;
daughters and sons-in-law Alison and
Martin Hochbaum of West Bloomfield,
Julie and Stuart Raider of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren Joshua Raider, Zachary
Raider; sister and brother-in-law Louise and
Samuel Miller of Boca Raton, Fla.
