serving up comedic
classics for more than
50 years. Sponsored by
the Jewish Community
Center, he'll be at West
Bloomfield High School
Saturday night to share
his wit and wisdom.

It might have happened if the
comedian's dream of becoming an
opera singer had panned out. "I've never
sung in the opera because I don't sing well,"
says Reiner. "I can sing, but I'm not a
singer.''
But he is a writer and a performer, one
who's made quite an impact during his
nearly 50 years in show business. From the
groundbreaking "Dick Van Dyke Show" to
his 2000 Year Old Man shtick with pal Mel
Brooks to directing fellow comedians like
Steve Martin in The Jerk, Reiner, 76, knows
how to tickle a funny bone.
The comedian will entertain 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 6, at West Bloomfield
High School in a program sponsored by the
Jewish Community Center.
