Oh, You Beautiful Doll

If you're not already decorating
your house for Purim, give it a try!
You can hang streamers and bal-
loons, and make these happy
people to hang on your walls. All
you need is large (very large)
paper, preferably white, and
markers or crayons. Ask each
child to lie on the paper while you
trace his or her outline. Cut out
the figure and let the child draw
his own face on the doll, then
add a favorite Purim costume.
When you're done, hang on the
walls or on your front door.

Queen Esther would never be
caught in some of those dreadful
(but expensive) sunglasses you see
on certain celebrities these days.
So any young, budding queen
today needs to don not only a
fancy dress before stepping out to
a Purim party — she needs cool
glasses.
You can make your own by buy-
ing inexpensive sunglasses at your
favorite discount store. The key is in
the decorating. Use your imagina-
tion to come up with great treasures
to glue on the glasses. A few ideas:

googly eyes
fake green feathers, for that suave
jungle look
rhinestones
creepy tiny plastic bugs.
Note: Be sure to use a strong
glue as glasses tend to get a lot of

wear and tear.
