Judge Sosnick gave a judicial perspective.

Theatre production of Never the Sinner,
a play based on the famous Leopold-
Loeb 1924 murder case in which two
wealthy Chicago teenagers kidnapped
and killed a 14-year-old neighbor in
their attempt to commit the perfect
crime.
Sosnick, answering audience ques-
tions, said the landmark case was the

first to raise questions of whether young
offenders qualify for capital punishment
and to examine the effect of environ-
ment factors, like a child's relationship
to his parents, on criminal behavior.
The drama runs Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Sundays at
7:30 p.m. and Saturdays
at 8 p.m. until March 7.
Sunday matinees are at 2
p.m.
Discussions after
Thursday evening and
Sunday matinee perfor-
mances will be led by the
following:
• Sunday, Feb. 28: U.S.
District Judge Avern
Cohn and WDIV-
Channel 4 anchor and
Good Health reporter Lila
Lazarus.
• Thursday, March 4:
Sandy Hyman of Jewish
Family Service.
• Sunday, March 7:
motivational speaker Mort Crim, former
WDIV-Channel 4 anchor. 1 1
