HAROLD SHER, 87, of West

Bloomfield, died Feb. 17.
Mr. Sher was a self-employed owner
"--) of Four Aces Cafe-Bar and Restaurant.
He was a past president of the Pine
Island Chapel of B'nai Kith and was a
32nd Degree Mason.
Mr. Sher is survived by his sons,
Robert Sher of West Bloomfield,
Lawrence Sher of California; daughters
and sons-in-law Shelly and Joel
Newman of West Bloomfield, Beverly
and Albert Hacker of Florida; grandchil-
dren Marcy and Steven Lipman, Steven
and Jill Hacker, Carrie Hacker, Casey
Newman, Fred Sher, Jon Sher, Michael
Sher, Shane Sher; great-grandchildren
Bryan and Hannah Lippman, Simon
and Emily Hacker.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Ida Sher.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be directed to
the Harold and Ida Sher Memorial
Grove at the Jewish National Fund.
Arrangements by the Ira 'Kaufman
Chapel.

THELMA SHERMAN, 80, of

Southfield, died Feb. 13.
Prior to retirement in 1990, Ms.
Sherman was the owner of Fashion
Corner in the Steve Petix Building in
Southfield and later in Birmingham.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Renee and Dr. Paul
Schreibman of West Bloomfield; grand-
children Jay Schreibman and David
Schreibman; brother and sister-in-law
Julian and Rosalind Tugman of Florida.
Ms. Sherman was the dear sister of the
late Rosalind Levine.
Contributions may be made to the
Michigan Dyslexia Institute, 30230
Orchard Lake Rd., Suite 130,
Farmington Hills, MI 48334. Interment
at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Arrangements by the Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

RONALD SILVER, 70, of Ann Arbor,

died Feb. 20.
Mr. Silver was a graduate of the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He was a retired Air Force major. He
was employed by the Lawrence
Livermore Radiation Lab and General
Electric of San Jose. He moved to Ann
Arbor in 1977 and worked for Bechtel
Corp. He later became a certified public
accountant.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years,
Sheila Katz Silver; son and daughter-in-
law Michael and Judy Silver of Roseville,
Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law Ruth
and Steve Rabin of Mountain View
Calif.; Susan Silver of Palo Alto, Calif,
