Oak. Lowell received a bachelor of sci-
ence degree from Indiana University
Business School and a juris doctor from
George Washington University. He is a
partner in the law firm of Maddin,
Hauser, Wartell, Roth, Heller and Pesses
PC in Southfield.
A March wedding is planned at the
Dearborn Inn.

Mr. Lyle H. Parr of Southfield and Mrs.
Laurice P. Fishman of Sarasota, Fla., for-
merly of Southfield, announce the
engagement of their daughter Faith
Susan Parr to Steven Raymond Shapiro,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Shapiro of
West Bloomfield.
Faith is formerly from Southfield and
Steven from West Bloomfield. Faith
earned a bachelor's degree in merchan-
dise management at Michigan State
University and her teacher's certification
in elementary education at Florida

International University. She is working
on her master's degree in multicultural
education. Faith is employed at William
Jennings Bryan Elementary School in
North Miami as a fifth-grade honors
teachers. Steven is a certified computer
technician , and is employed at NEXTEL
Communications in Ft. Lauderdale as a
digital-cellular technician.
A March wedding is planned at
Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach.
The couple will reside in North Miami
Beach.
