Food Fair
On May 2
Congregation Shir Tikvah will host
an exhibition of Jewish food and
cooking the afternoon of Sunday,
May 2.
The committee is planning food
competitions, raffles, family enter-
tainment and food to eat. The pro-
gram will also include social action
activity in which participants can
assist those less fortunate.

Grosinger
Named Director
Kari L. Grosinger has been named
associate director of the Community
Outreach and Education
Department (CORE) of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
Formerly a CORE associate,
Grosinger coordinates the Teva:
Naturally Jewish program, oversees
Rekindling Shabbat activities and is
a liaison to the University of
Michigan School of Social Work,
which sends students from its pro-
ject StaR program for internships at
Federation.
A former Project StaR intern,
Grosinger also interned for the
Coalition for the Advancement of c/\
Jewish Education (CAJE) and the
Agency for Jewish Education's Jewish
Experiences for Families (JEFF) pro-
gram. She served as counselor, vil-
lage supervisor and Alaska
Adventure staff for Fresh Air Society
programs.
Women's Seder
At Adat Shalom
Women in the community age 12
and over are invited to attend the
Jewish Federation Women's
Campaign and Education
Department women's seder 6 p.m.
Wednesday, March 24, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
The seder will give women of
each generation an opportunity to
celebrate together the spirituality of
Passover. A Hagaddah with special
additional readings for women has
been prepared for the seder.
Sissi Lapides and Nancy Gad-
Harf are chairing the event.
Reservation deadline is Monday, E/
March 1. Cost of the seder, which -\
includes a Passover meal, is $30 per
person, payable in advance.

Yad Ezra
Sponsors Rafflee
Yad Ezra, Michigan's only kosher
food pantry, will have a raffle to
raise funds to purchase food for its
clients. The drawing will take place
at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Yad
Ezra, 26641 Harding, Oak Park.
Phil Elkus is the raffle chairman.
