IDA PESSIN, 92, of Trenton, died Jan.
3. Mrs. Pessin was a heating and cool-
ing bookkeeper.
She is survived by her daughter,
Sydelle Morrison of Trenton; 13 grand-
children; 14 great-grandchildren; one
brother and two sisters. Mrs. Pessin was
the beloved wife of the late Isaac Pessin.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

ESTHER POLLACK, 82, of Berkley,
died Jan. 17.
She is survived by her husband,
Morris Pollack of Berkley; son, Ken-
neth Myron Pollack of Southfield;
daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle and
Robert Baker of Berkley; sister, Wilma
Makie of Rochester Hills; grandchil-
dren, Amy Pollack and Jamison Pol-
lack. Esther was the beloved sister of
the late Louis Sulkin, Joseph Sulkin
and Ann Haidy.

BERNARD N. RACKLIN, 81, of
Southfield, died Jan. 19. For 35 years,
Mr. Racklin was a real estate broker
and at one time a grocery store owner.
He was a member of Perfection Lodge
486 F & AM.
Mr. Racklin is survived by his wife,
Betty Racklin; daughter and son-in-
law, Sue Anne and Gary Abramovitz of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Michael and Tammy Abramovitz,
Robyn and Tim Klouse, Stephen,-Aly-
cia, Kimberley and Ryan Davis; son-in-
law and wife, Samuel and Nola Davis;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mar-
tin and Carol Gorosh of West Bloom-
field, Leonard and Puggy Gorosh of
Alabama and David Michaelson of
Florida. He was the loving father of the
late Lynda Elaine Davis.

LILLIAN SCHWARTZ, 84, former
Detroiter of Delray Beach, Fla., died
Jan. 19. Miss Schwartz was instrumenta r
in the planning of Sinai Hospital, where
she was assistant nursing director. She is
survived by her niece, Suzanne (Dr.
Kenneth) Shmarak of West Bloomfield;
nephew, David Yellen of Boston; great-
niece Marci (Joel) Ben-Moche of West
Bloomfield; great-nephew Michael
Shmarak of Southfield; and great-great-
niece Erin Ben-Moche.

WILLIAM SCHWARTZ, 91, formerly
of Oak Park, of Las Vegas, died Jan. 22.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Roslyn Schwartz of Las Vegas; daughter

Jack (Randy Diaz) Schwartz of San
Francisco; grandchildren, Lauren (Joel)
Jacob, Jonathan (Julie) Dorfman,

Andrew, Autumn and Bryana.

WALTER SELIGSON, 90, of Hunt-
ington Woods, died Jan. 9. Prior to
retirement 25 years ago, Mr. Seligson
was a mechanical engineer for Detroit
Edison. He was a member of Singles
Extension Group.
Mr. Seligson is survived by his
daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and
Shimon Edut of Oak Park, Carolyn ail
Seligson and David Mickelson of
Encinitas, Calif.; grandchildren, Tali
Edut, Ophira Edut and Leora Edut;
brother-in-law, Dr. Ferdinand I k ann. He
was the beloved husband of the late
Sophie Seligson.
