Siemens Doubles
Israel Purchases

Jerusalem (JPFS) — European giant
Siemens AG could double its pur-
chases in the Israeli economy to some
200 million marks over the next few
years, Theo Kowalski, business unit
president of Siemens Procurement
and Logistic services announced.
Speaking at a lunch meeting in Tel
Aviv
attended by members of the

Industrial Cooperation Authority, the
Israel Export Institute and the
Manufacturer's Association, Kowalski
said that Siemens has increased its
purchases in Israel. Some 70 Israeli
manufacturers are now exporting to
Siemens. El
