Born in Poland, she immigrated to Palestine as a pioneer in 1933 after graduating from the Teacher's College in Vilna. In Israel she taught elementary school, working with children from poor neighborhoods and developing programs for illiterate new immigrants. Later in her career, she trained teachers at various teachers' col- leges. She published articles in profes- sional journals and wrote textbooks for teaching literature and Bible. She went back to school for a bachelor's degree from Hebrew University. Mrs. Ginzach is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nira and Amos Lev of Southfield; son and daugh- ter-in-law, Yosef and Gloria Ginzach of Israel; sister, Rachel Zinger of Israel; grandchildren Ron and Ori Lev, Shai, Oren and Nava Ginzach.
