The bride is a 1996 graduate of the
American University and will receive a
master's degree from George
Washington University in May. She is
associate editor of Life Association News
for the National Association of Life
Underwriters.
The groom attended University of
Michigan and plans to begin law school
in the fall. He is working as a legal assis-
tant at Krooth & Altman in
Washington, D.C.
The couple honeymooned on a
Caribbean cruise. They reside in
Washington, D.C.

Groomsmen were Jeffrey Barkin,
nephew of the bride; Bob Fraus, son-in-
law of the groom; Steve Barkin and
Bruce Barkin, brothers of the bride; and
Richard Barkin, brother of the bride
who gave the bride away. Ariana and
Alexis Barkin, nieces of the bride, were
flower girls; Aaron Swerdlow-Freed,
cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Also participating in the ceremony
was Charlotte Sherman, grandmother of
the bride.
The couple reside in Southfield and
plan to honeymoon on a southern
Caribbean cruise at the end of January.
