ber of the Birmingham Lacrosse
League. He enjoys all outdoor activi-
ties, especially snowboarding, camp-
ing, rock climbing and biking.

project involved volunteering at Yad
ELra. A student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills,
Nathan has as hobbies golf and
snow and water skiing, as well as
playing the saxophone.
Eric Kahn Gale will become a bar
mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Saturday, Jan. 16.
He is the son of

and Allan Gale and
brother of Alyssa.

dent in Birmingham, Eric enjoys
being in school musicals, playing

jects included volunteering at the
Temple Israel Labor Day picnic and
collecting items for the clothing
drive.

Jordan Adam Silbert was called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
Jan. 9, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
Jordan is the son o f
Karin and Stuart
Silbert and the
brother of Jared and
Chad. He is the
grandson of Barbara
and Edward Burton
and Coni and Saul Aronson. He is
also the grandchild of the late Jerry
Silbert.
Jordan is a seventh grader at
Derby Middle School in
Birmingham, where he has received
honors recognition. Jordan partici-
pates on the basketball team and is a
percussionist in the school concert
band.
Jordan enjoys sports, drawing,
Computer games and camping. He
was a volunteer at Camp Berman as
one of his mitzvah projects.
Jared Evan Silbert celebrated his bar
mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 9, at

Shaarey Zedek.
Jared is the son of
Karin and Stuart
Silbert and the
brother of Jordan
and Chad. He is
the grandson of
Coni and Saul
Aronson and
Barbara and Edward Burton. He is
also the grandchild of the late Jerry
Silbert.
Jared attends seventh grade at
Derby Middle School in
Birmingham. He participates on the
football and basketball teams as well
as playing cello in the orchestra.
His favorite mitzvah project was
volunteering for Camp Betman as a
helper. Jared enjoys sports, music,
computer games, going to camp and
drawing.
