The Levin Family club, 200 strong,
celebrates its 50th year.

ith membership dues,
bylaws and monthly
meetings run according
to Roberts Rules of
Order, the Levin family is a bit more
organized than your typical multi-
generational brood.
That's because the Levins are not
,_/
just a family, but a club, and have
been so for 50 years now, a milestone '
commemorated in November at a
150-person shindig.
For despite their seriousness about
organizing, the Levins — and the 51
other surnames that have been added
to the family through years of fruit-
fulness and multiplication — are
essentially party goers who gather
together every few months for laugh- (---,
ing, dancing, shmoozing and remi-
niscing.
A Chanukah party last week drew
more than 80 revelers of all ages,
despite the fact that Chanukah had
long passed (the party had been
rescheduled due to a death in the
