Detroit will send kids to Houston and Columbus from Aug. 8-13, and to Cherry Hill, N.J. from Aug. 15-20. On Jan. 30, the Maccabi Games will be kicked off locally at the Kahn JCC in West Bloomfield, where there will be organized sports, a disc jockey, televi- sions showing the video from this past summer's games in Detroit, as well as tryout information for next summer's games.
