Debra Elizabeth Ireland and Aaron
Matthew Silver, both of Pontiac, are
planning a January wedding at the
Birmingham Country Club.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas U. Ireland of
Grosse Pointe Woods. Her fiance is the
son of Dr. and Mrs. Marvin D. Silver
of Bloomfield Hills.

Ms. Ireland is pursuing culinary arts
certification with the American
Culinary Federation. She is employed as
a chef's apprentice at the Birmingham
Country Club. Mr. Silver will receive
his bachelor's degree in accounting and (_
finance in the spring from Oakland
University. He will attend law school at
Indiana University in the summer.

Fighting Heart Disease

Miller- Weiskopf

Dr. and Mrs. Murray Miller of Ann
Arbor announce the engagement of
their daughter Lisa Stephanie to
Michael Glen Weiskopf, son of James
and Barbara Weiskopf of Oak Park.
Lisa earned her bachelor of science
degree in elementary education and a
second master's degree in early child-
hood education from Eastern Michigan
University She teaches kindergarten in

Ann Arbor. Michael earned his bachelor
of science degree in education at the
University of Michigan and a master's
degree in educational leadership at
Wayne State University. He teaches
math and computers in the Walled
Lake Consolidated School District.
A June wedding is planned in Ann
Arbor.
