JERRY VARON, 66, of Southfield, died Dec. 16. Mr. Varon was an advertising executive. He was a mem- ber of the Atlas Valley Country Club, on the board of directors for the Cys- tic Fibrosis Foundation, the founder of the Jimmy Varon Golf Outing- Amoco Dealers and Jobbers and helped raise over one million dollars for the Metro Detroit Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Mr. Varon is survived by his wife, Shaaron Varon; daughters and sons- in-law, Dr. Linda and Kevin Thomas of Franklin, Laura Varon and Jeff Brown of Bloomfield Hills; grandchil- dren, Molly Varon, Emma Brown, Jacob Brown, Shea Thomas; father-in- law and mother-in-law, Saul and Mar- ion Dicken and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Allen Dicken, Burl and Tamra Dicken, Beverly and Joseph Sanders.
