Mr. Sloman, who ,--D retired five years ago, was a patent lawyer and found- ing partner of Cullen, Soloman, Cantor, Scott and Rutherford who were in business for 40 years and one the largest ,— premier patent firm in that era. In 1934, Mr. Sloman graduated from the University of Michigan School of Engineering and was a third genera- tion graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Sloman was a member of the Engineering Society, , Michigan Bar Association, Legal Aid . -,ociety, a past president of the Exchange Club, a past president of the Great Lakes Club and a member of the Recess Club. His family was the "founding family" of Temple Beth El and a six generation family.
