came back from a 2-1 deficit after the
first leg of round two, to eliminate SV
Ried of Austria 5-3 on aggregate.
Their performance is the best to
date by an Israeli side in a club com-
petition sponsored by the Union of
European Football Associations,
Europe's governing body.

Hall of Fame
In order ro reflect everything spon-
sored by the Michigan Jewish Sports
Hall of Fame, the organization
changed names effective Dec. 1.
The Michgan Jewish Sports
Foundation, will supervise the Hall of
Fame, the Hank Greenberg Memorial
- Golf & Tennis
Invitational and the
Hall of Fame

WB Offers Floor
Hockey This Winter
The West Bloomfield Parks and
Recreation Department is offering a
six-week floor hockey program for
boys and girls ages 5-12 at Orchard
Lake Middle School.
Sessions run for 50 minutes each,
with the first part dedicated to skill
work and fundamentals and the sec-
ond part to playing a game. Players
must bring a hockey stick with a plas-
tic blade, eye goggles or a helmet with
a cage or face shield.
Five- and 6-year olds will play 11-
11:50 a.m.; 7- and 8-year-olds, noon-
12:50 p.m.; 9- and 10-year-olds, 1-
1:50 p.m.; and 11- and 12-year-olds,
2-2:50 p.m.
The registration deadline is Jar" 29.
