RUTH SEMELISKY, of Fort
Lauderdale, Fla., died Nov. 26. She
is survived by her loving sister,
Dorothy Reinheimer of Beverly
Hills; nieces and nephews, Margery,
Gary and Steven Reinheimer, Nancy
Kaufman, Martha Eden and Karen
Pollak.
Graveside services were held at
Beth El Memorial Gardens.
ELEANOR STERNBERG, 78, of
Engadine, Mich., died Dec. 16. She
is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Paul and Janis Sternberg
of Oak Park, Mark and Laura Lee
Sternberg of Engadine, Mich.;
grandchildren, Eric, Martin, Cary
and Jessica. Eleanor was the beloved
wife of the late, Moe Sternberg.
Services were held at the Mach-
pelah Chapel, followed by interment
in the cemetery. Contributions can
he made to the Karmanos Cancer
institute, 18831 W. 12 Mile, Lath-
rup Village, MI 48076, or to the
LMAS Hospice, P.O. Box 398,
Newberry, MI 49868.
BEULAH MILLER STONE, 83, of
Thousand Oaks, Calif., died Dec.
20. Mrs. Stone was an electrical con-
tractor executive. For many years,
Mrs. Stone organized the Angel
Balls for the National Council of
Jewish Women and was instrumental
in organizing the Thrift Shop. She
was also a volunteer at Sinai Hospi-
tal and at Northridge Hospital in Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her
daughter and son-in-law, Barbara
and Larry Rosen of Calif.; son and
daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Yaffa
Stone of Israel; grandchildren, Susan
and Eric Bender, Richard Rosen,
Edward Rosen, Tina Rosen, Debbie
and Nissan Ruben, David Stone,
Sivan Stone, Rona Stone and great-
grandchildren, Allison and Ryan
Bender, Yank', Gali and Lior Ruben.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Arthur Stone.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

SEMYON TARAKHOVSKY, 64,
of Oak Park, died Dec. 18. He is
survived by his sons, Max
Tarakhovsky of Lake Orion, George
Tarakhovsky of Royal Oak.

JERRY VERON, 66, of Southfield,
died Dec. 16. Mr. Veron was an
advertising executive. He was a
member of the Atlas Valley Country
Club, on the Board of
Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation, the founder of the
Jimmy Varon Golf Outing-Amoco
Dealers and Jobbers and helped raise
over one million dollars for the
Metro Detroit Chapter of the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation.
Mr. Varon is survived by his wife,
Shaaron Varon; daughters and sons-
in-law, Dr. Linda and Kevin Thomas
of Franklin, Laura Varon and Jeff
Brown of Bloomfield Hills; grand-
children, Molly Varon, Emma
Brown, Jacob Brown, Shea Thomas;
father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Saul and Marion Dicken and broth-
ers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Allen
Dicken, Burl and Tamra Dicken,
Beverly and Joseph Sanders. He was
the devoted father of the late
Richard Varon and the late James
Varon and the loving son of the late
Norman and the late Mary Varon.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
