Mission Signup Deadline Nears

ridgy, Jan. 15, is the
deadline for payment in
full for those registered
for Michigan Miracle
Mission III to Israel, April 18 28.
Cost of the mission is $2,995, all
inclusive, and based on double
occupancy.
The community trip will have
something for everyone, from the
first-rime Israel traveler to those
who are making a return visit.
Mission goers will arrive in
time for the countrywide celebra-
tion of Yom Ha'atzma'ur, Israel
Independence Day. A special fea-
ture of the trip will be a visit to
Michigan's partnership 2000 sis-
ter region on the central Galilee.
The itinerary includes Shabbat
at the Western Wall and visits to
major historic and religious sires
and meetings with people from
all walks of life. Congregation
buses will devote a half day to
areas of specific interest to those
participants.
Young adults — single and
married — will travel on buses
with an itinerary geared to their
interests.

Flights will be direct from
Detroit to Israel via El Al. In
addition to rouncirrip airfare, the
mission includes accommodations
(double occupancy) at I-1 c star
hotels, most dinners and lunches
and Israeli breakfasts, taxes and
transfers, sightseeing on air-con-
ditioned buses with Israeli tour
guides and entertainment by
Israeli performers.
Michigan residents of college
age and older are invited to par-
ticipate in the mission. Friends
and relatives from outside of
Michigan also are welcome.
The Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit sponsors
Miracle Mission III. Additional
support comes from The Jervis',
News and n-iariv local congrega-
tions and communal organiz
tions.
