Barbara and Paul Davis of Lynnfield,
Mass., are proud to announce the
engagement of their daughter Deborah
Lynn to Aaron Matthew Tam, son of
Dr. Robert and Elizabeth Tam of Farm-
ington Hills.
The bride-to-be graduated manga
cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Bran-
deis University with a bachelor's degree
in American studies. She received her
master's degree in media communica-
tions from Northwestern University.
Deborah is the public relations manager
for the national headquarters of the

American Library Association based in
Chicago.
The future groom, a graduate of Hil-
lel Day School and Harrison High
School, received his bachelor's degree
with honors in economics from the
University of Michigan. He earned both
his master's degree and his Ph.D. in eco-
nomics from Northwestern University.
Aaron is employed as a senior strategy
consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoop-
ers.
The couple reside in Chicago. A Sep-
tember 1999 wedding is planned.
