BENJAMIN RUBIN, 80, formerly of

Detroit and Oak Park of Cape Coral,
Fla., died Nov. 29. He was born in Sos-
nowiec, Poland and was a Holocaust
survivor who after the war settled in
Michigan. He was a member of Tem-
ple Beth El in Fort Meyers, Fla., the
Jewish Federation of Lee & Charlotte

MIRA SHTRAMBRAND, 76, of

Oak Park, died Dec. 2. She is sur-
vived by her son and daughter-in-law,
Mark and Luda Brand of Farming-
ton; daughter and son-in-law, Zhan-
netta Shtrambrand and Alexander
Kheynis of Southfield; sister, Riva
Danishevskaya of Oak Park; grand-
children, Anna, Vadim; one great-
grandchild. Mrs. Shtrambrand was
the beloved wife of the late Wolf
Shtrambrand.
