member of Kiwanis and was a Mason.
He also volunteered with the Ameri-
can Red Cross and the Mote Marine
Laboratory in Sarasota.
Mr. Shugol is survived by his wife,
Hermina; daughters and sons-in-law,
Wendy Shugol of Centerville, Va.,
Melinda and Russell Adams of
Haslett, Deborah and Thomas
Ankney of East Grand Rapids; son
and daughter-in-law, David and Adele
Shugol of Bradenton; grandchildren,
Sandra Shugol, Sarah and Brook
Adams and Alexandra and Evan
Ankney.

FAYE SILVERMAN, 65, of Oak Park,
died Nov. 26. She is survived by her
husband, Herbert Silverman; sons and
daughter-in-law, David and Rochelle
Silverman of Novi, Scott Silverman of
Los Angeles; brother, Arnold Miles of
Beverly Hills; sister, Eve Bergsman of
Potomac, Md.; also survived by
Harold, Edna, Robin and Yale Silver-
man of Baton Rouge, La., George,
Sara Beth, Nathan and Cole Silverman
of Memphis, Tenn.

ROBERT SIMAN, 77, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 24. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Essie Siman; sons
and daughter-in-law, Steven and Dr.
Robin Siman of Bloomfield Hills, Paul
Eric Siman; grandchild, Rory Klein
Siman.

SAMUEL SOLOMON, 77, of Mesa,
Ariz., died Nov. 27. Mr. Solomon was
a locksmith and prior to his retire-
ment in 1988, he owned Hugo
Solomon and Son Locksmith which is
still family owned. He was a past pres-
ident of the Michigan Master Lock-
smith Association, the Assoliated
Locksmith of American, a Mason and
a Staff Sgt. during WWII.
Mr. Solomon is survived by his
wife, Sheila Solomon; sons, Michael
Solomon of Farmington Hills, Ken-
neth Solomon of Mesa, Ariz., Larry
Solomon of Southfield; stepchildren,
Robert Moser, Kenneth Moser and
Ronnie Lynne Swindell; grandchil-
dren, Jordon, Jason, Jennifer, Jessica,
Melissa, Jon and Melissa; great-grand-
daughter, Brittany and sister and broth-
er-in-law, Bettie and Seymour Eichen-
horn of Mesa, Ariz. He was the beloved
husband of the late Frances Solomon
and the loving father of the late Ronald
Solomon.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

American Heart Association. Arrange-

REVEKA (REBECCA) ZILBERMAN,
90, of Southfield, died Nov. 23. She is
survived by her brother-in-law, Israel
Lefkowitz; nieces and nephews, Tanya
(Dr. Vladimir) Klemptner and Mischa
(Irena) Lefkowitz; great nieces and
nephews, Dr. Alpert (Deborah)
Klemptner, Daniel Klemptner and
Mark (Valentina) Gordin.
Graveside services were held at the
Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery.
