Brandon Michael Leopold will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Congregation Beth Shalom. Brandon is the son of Joshua and Marilyn Leopold. Grandpar- ents are Irene Schwartz and Eudice Leopold. He is also the grandchild of the late Edwin Schwartz and the late Gerald Leopold. Brandon is in the seventh grade ate Hillel Day School in Farmington Hills. He plays the clarinet and hopes to join the marching band in high school. Other interests include all types of sports, music and com- puters. Hayley Renee Dreyfuss of Bloomfield Hills will celebrate her bat mitzvah at Temple Beth El on Saturday, Nov. 28. She is the daughter of Elisa and Dr. Donald Dreyfuss, sister of Heather, Heath and Heidi, and the granddaugh- ter of Beatrice Katz and Frances Drey- fuss. She is also the grandchild of the late Max L. Katz and the late Herbert Dreyfuss. Hayley is an eighth-grade student at Bloomfield Hills Middle School. Besides being an excellent student enjoying all subjects, Hayley participated on the tennis team as the number one sin- gles player. During the summer, she worked as a volunteer at the Bloom- field Hills Huck Finn Camp, help- ing counselors and working with young campers. Hayley enjoys lis- tening to music, shopping and being with her friends. Michael Levine will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Congre- gation Shaarey Zedek. Michael is the son of Caren Landau and Jeffrey Levine. Sharing in the celebration are his sister Erica and brother Alex. Proud grandparents are Dr. Leslie an dJoanne Levine, and Del Landau. Michael is also the grandson of the late Alfred Landau. An honor student at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield, Michael enjoys in-line hockey, base- ball, video games, computers, scuba diving, water-skiing and Camp Walden. Michael recently participated in the JCC Maccabi Games. Volunteering at Yad Ezra, creating art projects with children during Super Sunday and helping young children learn to play floor hockey were part of his rewarding mitzvah projects.
