Bar/Sat Mitzvah

Miriam Charna Liebman was called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah, Thurs-
day, November 26,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek B'nai
Israel Center. She is
the daughter of Judy
and Marry Liebman
and the sister of
Noah. Proud grand-
parents are Albert
and Esther Lenin
and Ceil and Jerry Liebman. The ser-
vice was led by Miriam and officiated
by Rabbi Leonardo Bitran.
Miriam is an honor student at Hil-
lel Day School in Farmington Hills,
where she was on the cross-country
team. She enjoys ballet and modern
dance and plays the flute. Miriam also
loves to write, and likes camping and
fishing.

Daniel Alan Kelmenson will become
a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 28.,
at Temple Israel. He is the son of Sara
Kelmenson and Dr.
Robin Kelmenson
and brother of
Michael and Rachel.
Proud grandparents

and Dr. Victor Kel-
menson. Excited
great-grandparents
are Anna and Harry Korman. He is

Daniel found his most meaningful
mitzvah project to be volunteering at a
JARC home. A student at Abbott
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
Daniel enjoys tennis, street hockey,
hiking and video games.

Jarett Ross Ettinger will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Satur-
day, Nov. 28, at Temple Israel. He is
the son of Valerie and Mark Ettinger,
brother of Lauren and grandchild of
Betty and Stuart Lane and Dorothy
Henschel. He is also the grandchild of
the late Sidney
Ettinger.
An especially
meaningful mitzvah
project was volun-
teering for the
Michigan Jewish
Hall of Fame Games
(Special Olympics).
Jarett also babysat
for younger children during services at
Temple Israel. He attends Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
where he is an honor student. He likes
aggressive skating, snowboarding, bas-
ketball, paintball, video games and
golf.
