For sixty years, Mr. Freeman was a scrap metal executive and was also partners with his son, Richard, and Jerry Rob- bins of R & F Metals Company, Inc. Mr. Freeman was a 1934 graduate of Northern High School and was an Army Sgt. stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He was a member of the Mor- ganthal Lodge of B'nai B'rith, a past president of the Brandeis Bowling League, a member of the ISRI Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries and a vol- unteer for the Allied Jewish Campaign. Mr. Freeman loved to dance and was a member of the Cotillion, sang with Danny Thomas and was on WJBK.
