APPLE CRANBERRY UPSIDE
DOWN CAKE (Dairy)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or
margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sweetened applesauce
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 t baking powder
3/4 t baking soda

2 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t ground nutmeg
6 cups peeled, diced Granny Smith
or Macintosh apples
2 cups fresh cranberries
4 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease or
spray an 8x12 or equivalent baking
pan. Combine butter and sugar in a
mixing bowl and beat until creamed.
