Cardozo Society Hears Bollinger SZ Productions Hosts Volunteers University of Michigan President Lee C. Bollinger will address the next meeting of the Jewish Federation's Cardozo Society 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Westin Hotel, 1500 Town Center, Southfield. The Cardozo Society hosts programs for members of the legal profes- sion. Bollinger will focus on affirma- tive action in his speech titled Lee Bollinger "The Ideal of Brown vs. the Board of Education at the End of the Century." Bollinger joined the U-M Law School faculty in 1973 and later was named dean of the law school, a posi- tion he held for seven years. Bollinger became provost of Dartmouth College and professor of government in July 1994 and was named U-M president in 1996. His primary teach- ing and scholarly interests center on free speech and First Amendment issues.
