Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Bryan Jeffrey Cohen will be called to
the Torah to celebrate his bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Congregation
Beth Shalom. Bryan
is the son of Hershel
and Marsha Cohen
and brother of Lesli.
He is the grandson
of Herman and
Adell Ozrovitz and
the late William and
Ceila Cohen. He is
the great-grandson
of Ann Ozrovitz.
Bryan is an honor student at Norup

Middle School in Berkley, where he
plays in the jazz and concert bands. He
is an avid Viper hockey fan, loves com-
puters, video games and in-line skating.
His mitzvah projects involved
spending time with residents of JARC
and the Menorah House.

Ben attends Camp Ramah in Canada
and enjoys karate, skiing and comput-
ers. He has done numerous mitzvah
projects with his most memorable
being at the Fleischman residence in
Oak Park, where he helped the seniors
learn to use the internet and commu-
nicate using e-mail programs.

at Warner Middle
School in Farming-
ton Hills. She is
active in the school
band, playing the
clarinet. Besides
music, she also

enjoys swimming and biking.
Megan is the daughter of Sheryl
and Shay Rosenfeld, and the sister of
Elizabeth. Proud grandparents are Lil-
lian and Bernard Friedman and Ruth
Richardson. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Val Richardson.

Molly Rachel Spalter, daughter of
Joyce and Richard Spalter, sister of

becomes a bat mitz-
vah, at Congregation

Molly attends Hillel Day School in
Farmington Hills. She is active in USY
and drama.

to volunteer at JARC and Friendship
Circle.

Misha Aaron Marmelshtein will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah on Sunday, Nov.
1, at Machon L' Torah. Misha is the
son of Leonid and
Arlene; his brothers
are Marc, David and
Dema. Misha is the
grandson of the late
Morris and Goldie
Buchzeiger and
Misha and Chana
Marmelshtein.
Misha attends
Berkshire Middle School in Birming-
ham and enjoys football, basketball
and collecting model cars.

Lindsey Alexandra Gudes will become
a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 31, at
Temple Israel. She is the daughter of
Cristie and Jerry
Gudes, sister of Jef-
frey and grandchild
of Adele Gudes and
Elizabeth Camino.
She is also the
granddaughter of the
late Alfred Camino
and the late Dr.
David Gudes.
Donating used books to shelters as
part of her mitzvah projects was espe-
cially meaningful. Lindsey attends
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, where she is an honor stu-
dent. Her hobbies include dance, soc-
cer, skiing and snowboarding.
