JARC Plans Fund-Raiser The Orchard Lake Kroger will partner with JARC-Jewish Association for 'Residential Care on behalf of JARC's annual fall fund-raiser. During the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1, the Orchard Lake Kroger store will donate $5 of every customer's purchase Of of $50 or more to help JARC provide homes and services to local individuals with developmental disabilities. Throughout that week, each cus- tomer with a Kroger purchase of $50 or more will automatically earn one $5 JARC donation certificate at the Orchard Lake Kroger check lanes. Patrons must simply collect this cer- 4, tificate and deposit it in the JARC col- lection box near the main•exit. Founded 30 years ago, JARC is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization operating 16 group homes located in eight different communities through- out Oakland County. JARC provides individualized support to enable 50 men and women with developmental disabilities to live independently and now provides support services to chil- dren with disabilities and their fami- lies.
