YA'AKOV "YASHA" GINZACH, 87, of Tel Aviv, Israel, died Oct. 12. Mr. Ginzach left Russia for Palestine in 1930. He worked for the Dead Sea Industries and in the construction of Israel's first atomic reactor. An electri- cal engineer, he later became a man- ager in one of Israel's largest con- struction companies. After his retire- • ment, Mr. Ginzach was active in Tel Aviv's Retirees Association and was the chairman of its cultural commit- tee. He organized lectures, trips all over the country, vacation packages and a variety of events for the senior citizens of Tel Aviv. He also estab- lished special clubs and counseling services for the Tel Aviv retirees. For this exemplary voluntary service, the city of Tel Aviv awarded him the title "Endeared Citizen of Tel Aviv" and he was granted the "Distinguished Volunteer" award. Mr. Ginzach is survived by his wife, Pnina Dobrushin-Ginzach; daughter and son-in-law, Nira and Amos Lev of Southfield; son and daughter-in-law, Yosef and Gloria Ginzach of Israel; * - grandchildren, Ron and Ori Lev, Shai, Oren and Nava Ginzach.
