Scaun-Winokur
Lisa Ernestine Scaun and Steven Jay
Winokur were recently married in a
garden ceremony at Villa Christina
Restaurant in Atlanta, Ga. Rabbi Louis
Feldstein of Atlanta YAD officiated.
The groom is the son of Hinda and
Terry Winokur, formerly of Southfield,
now residing in Boca Raton, Fla. The
bride is the daughter of Ruth Horowitz
- of Rockville, Md., and Anatole and
Ahlam Scaun of Catawissa, Pa.
Sasha Scaun, sister of the bride, was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Laura Taft, sister of the bride; Jennifer
Winokur, sister of the groom; Beth
Lebowitz and Camille Ramos. The
best man was Dr. Ryan Secan.

Groomsmen were Jerome Brown, Dr.
Jack Chou, Michael Marcil and
Joseph Zager.
Also participating in the ceremony
were Lillian Winokur and Dorothy
Green, grandmothers of the groom.
The groom graduated from the Uni-
versity of Miami and received his mas-
ters of business administration from
Emory University School of Business in
Atlanta. The bride graduated from
Towson State University and received
her master's degree in social work from
Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
Following a honeymoon in Montego
Bay, Jamaica, Lisa and Steve reside in
Atlanta.

Weinstock-Elkus
Gail Beth Weinstock and Steven Lee
Elkus were recently married at Congre-
gation Beth Shalom of Oak Park. Rabbi
David Nelson and Cantor Samuel
Greenbaum officiated.
Gail is the daughter of Martin and
Madeline Bronstein of Oak Park. Steve
is the son of Phil Elkus and the late
Irene Elkus of Farmington Hills.
Diane Baskin, friend of the bride,
was maid of honor; Ron Elkus, brother
of the groom, was the best man. Ashley
Bronstein, niece of the bride, was the
flower girl; Justin Bronstein, nephew of
the bride, was the ring bearer.
Others in the wedding party were
Michael Weinstock, son of the bride;
Stewart and Diana Bronstein, Gary and
Beth Bronstein and Joel and Michelle
Bronstein, brothers and sisters-in-law of
the bride; Robert Bronstein, brother of
the bride; Rick Woolman, Andre Berk,
Mitchell Rosen, Alan Stiebel, David
Baum and Carol Steffes, friends of the
groom.
Gail and Steve enjoyed their honey-
moon in the Bahamas and now reside
in Huntington Woods.
