Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield, Justin enjoys bas-
ketball, football and baseball, as well
as chess, in which he won a gold
medal at the recent Maccabi games.

Jason Michael Saham will observe
his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, Oct. 16. He is the son of
Mina and Arnie
Saham and brother
of Joshua. Proud
grandparents are
Phyllis and Robert
Brown and Dale
and Hy Saham.
Mitzvah projects
included volunteer-
ing at JARC and in
the Temple Israel office. Attending
Walled Lake Middle School, Jason's
interests are hockey and skating, as
well as computers.

Seth Michael McCubbin will
observe his bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 17, at TempleIsrael. He is the
son of Dr. Margaret
Shusterman and
John McCubbin,
brother of Eric and
Mark, and grandson
of Frances Shuster-
man and Henry
McCubbin. He is
also the grandchild
c- of the late Eli Shus-
terman and the late Lydia McCub-
bin.
His most meaningful mitzvah
project was assisting with the Jewish
Sports Hall of Fame games. An
honor student at Walnut Creek Mid-
dle School in Walled Lake, Seth
plays the trumpet, enjoys the com-
puter, rollerblading, designing and

building electronic devices and sings
with the Temple Israel Junior Choir.

David Benjamin Saginaw will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah at Temple
Israel on Saturday, Oct. 17. He is
