We are honored to present guest speaker Ambassador Dore Gold, Permanent Representative of Israel to
the United Nations. Dr. Gold served as Foreign Policy Advisor to Prime Minister Netanyahu from 1996
to 1997. He was directly involved in negotiations leading up to the Hebron Agreement and the "Note of
the Record." For nine years he served as Director of the U.S. Foreign and Defense Policy Project at the
Jaffe Center for Strategic Studies, Tel Aviv University. In 1991 he was an advisor to the Israeli
delegation to the Madrid Peace Conference and subsequent Arab-Israeli talks in Washington. Dr. Gold
has authored three books on the political process in the
Middle East and Israel, along with contributing articles to
The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,
Asahi Shinbun, Die Zeit, Ha'aretz, The Jerusalem Post
and The Guardian.
