Congregation B'nai David will host
"Lunch & Learn with Cantor Ben-Zion
Lanxner," noon Wednesday, Oct. 14, at
the synagogue.
A kosher catered lunch will be served
after which Cantor Lanxner will discuss
the weekly sidra portion of the Torah,
followed by commentaries.
There is a charge for lunch. For

The Men's Club of Adat Shalom will
sponsor an emergency first aid & CPR
training session for adults and teenagers,
10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 18. This
seminar will be conducted by Botsford
General Hospital EMS personnel.
Official cards will be issued to those
who successfully complete the training.
A light breakfast will be served. There is
a $2 per person charge. Register by
