Heather Blair Gale will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at Adat Shalom Syn-
agogue on Saturday, Oct. 3. She is
the daughter of
Beverly and Bruce
Gale. Heather is the
older sister of Joey.
Proud grand-
mothers are Nora
Gale and Becky
Grossman. Heather
is also the grand-
daughter of the late
Herbert Gale and Fred Grossman.
Heather attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She
enjoys gymnastics, skiing, violin and
swimming. As her mitzvah project,
Heather worked at Yad Ezra and
Elan Village.

Joel Zager will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue on Saturday
morning, Oct. 3.
Participating in the
ceremony will be
Joel's parents, Dr.
Bernard and Debra
Zager, and Joel's
brother, Sean.
Proud grandparents
are Yetta Zager of
West Bloomfield
and Ervin and Shirley Manson
of Farmington Hills. Joel is also the
grandson of the late Joseph Zager.
Joel is an honor student at West
Hills Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills and he enjoys playing soccer,
tennis and hockey. Joel's mitzvah
projects included contributions p
Bar-Ilan's Yetta Zager Library Fund
and to the Lisa Amy Herbst Memor-
ial Fund at Sinai. Joel was also
involved with Yad Ezra.

Zachary Frank Kravetzker will
observe his bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 3, at Temple Israel. He is the
son of Marlene and Arthur Kravet-
zker, brother of Randal and grand-
child of Marcia and Paul Baker. He
is also the grandson of the late Leah
and Sy Kravetzker.

Residence and col-
lecting dolls and
stuffed animals for
the Ronald
McDonald House.
An honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield, Zack plays the
clarinet; he also enjoys soccer and
basketball, roller hockey and Nin-
tendo.

Jordan David Stewart will celebrate
his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, Oct. 2. He is the son of
Helene and Jeffrey
Stewart, brother
of Rachel and
Joshua and grand-
child of Diane and
Harry Posar and
Eve Stewart. He is
also the grandson of
the late Maurice
Stewart.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, Jordan
is interested in snowboarding, ten-
nis, computers, biking and water
sports. He found working at the
Holocaust Memorial Center to be
his most meaningful mitzvah pro-
ject.

Rachel A. Frank will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah at
Temple Emanu-El on Saturday,
Oct. 3. She is the
daughter of Freder-
ick Frank and Kath-
leen Alessandro, sis-
ter of Sarah and
Joshua and grand-
daughter of George
and Anne Frank
and James Alessan-
dro.
Rachel is an award-winning
eighth grade honor student at
Davidson Middle School in South-
gate. She plays drums in the school
band and is also a member of the
swim and track teams. An avid read-
er, Rachel enjoys writing and doing
comedy improv. Her hobbies include
traveling, playing sports, listening to
music and reading.
Among her mitzvah projects,
Rachel has been visiting senior
adults residing in nursing homes,
through the Jewish Chaplaincy pro-
gram of the Home and Aging Ser-
vices.
