Dr. and Mrs. William Kaufman of
West Bloomfield joyously announce
the engagement of their daughter Lori
Anne to Olivier Jankelovics, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Jankelovics of
Paris, France.
Lori has a master's degree from Bal-
timore's Peabody Conservatory of
Music and is a concert pianist and

composer. Olivier received his master's
in business administration from Cor-
nell University and is working as a
management consultant at Gemini
Consulting Inc., an international
company.
A November wedding will take
place in New York City, and the cou-
ple will then reside in Paris.

Mrs. Madeline Barkin of West Bloom-
field is pleased to announce the
engagement of her daughter Janice
Ellen Barkin to David Arnold Gor-
don, son of Mrs. Rose Gordon and
the late Abe Gordon of Southfield.
Janice is also the daughter of the late
Marvin Barkin.

Janice is a travel consultant at
Torgerson Travel in Bloomfield Hills.
David is a published author. His first
novel is NT GILTY and it has been
purchased by Hollywood.
Plans are being made for a Novem-
ber wedding at Somerset Inn.
