• The Detroit Symphony Orchestra's
Pop Series hosts "A Gershwin Cele-
bration" 10:45 and 8 p.m. Thursday,
Nov. 5; 8:30 p.m Friday and Satur-
day, Nov. 6 and 7; and 8 p.m. Sun-
day, Nov. 8, at Orchestra Hall. The
program, conducted by Leslie B.
Dunner and featuring soprano
Suzan Hanson, tenor Kevin Ander-
son and pianist Christopher Taylor,
will include some of Gershwin's
