Above: The living room, designed by Kasey Pierson, ASID, and
Arleen Kageif allied member, ASID, of Scott Shuptrine in
Troy, boasts beautiful crystal chandeliers dropped from high flo-
ral-patterned plaster ceilings. They radiate against deep bur-
gundy tooled leather wallpaper and traditional furnishings.
The space also features original wood bookcases with glass and
iron cabinet doors in the Arts and Crafts style, which flank the
elaborately carved woodwork of the fireplace.

Left: The former bedroom of the Siegels' dauhter,

Eleanor, this
bedroom, decorated by Ma a Jano of Troy, eatures brushed
ruby walls, a light maple sleigh bed with e borate draping
behind, and gold, ruby and animal prints scattered throughout.

Top: The upstairs sitting room, designed by Daniel Clancy,
ASID, and Mary Jane Bower, ASID, of Perlmutter-Freiwald
in Franklin, is light and airy. It features cafe au lait walls, a
natural and hunter green sisal rug, and drapery and coordi-
nating fabric with ferns splashed about. A leopard chair punc-
tuates the space, and a writing desk sits near the window.
