Becker 50th

Dr. Abraham Becker, Detroit
internist, and his wife Dorothea cele-
brated their 50th wedding anniversary
•as a double simchah. Besides their
golden weddina 0 ' Dorothea celebrated
her bat mitzvah at Temple Emanu-El
in the presence of their son, Daniel,
who came in from his farm in Hatzi-
vah in Israel's Negev with his wife
Naomi, a caterer, and their sons

Yochai, Tamir, Amitai and Arnon.
Participating in the bat mitzvah ser-
vice of their Grandma Dorothea were
daughter Rachel's children, Eric,
Emily and Andrew, who served as the
choir. Also attending the service and
celebratory luncheon were many old
friends, many who had been present
at the wedding of the Beckers on June

30, 1948.
