Sukkot Plans
At Shir Tikvah

Congregation Shir Tikvah will com-
mence its first Sukkot celebrations in
its new building in Troy 10 a.m.
Sunday, Oct. 4. At that time, the con-
gregation will begin its first sukkah
raising parry.
At 5 p.m., everyone is invited for a
\-=' sukkah decorating parry and a potluck

dinner followed by a Sukkot service.

will host a triple-header weekend at
the Kahn Jewish Community Center
Oct. 2-4. -
The weekend will open 10 a.m.-
noon Friday, Oct. 2, with the first of a
six Friday mini-series devoted to
"Exploring the Arts," followed from 1-
2 p.m. by "Countdown to Election
'98."
On Sunday afternoon, Oct. 4, at 1
p.m., members and guests will be
treated to a performance by a piano
trio in the Janice Charach Epstein
Museum/Gallery.
The final third will be the reception
and opening of the annual IRP Photo
Show presented by the IRP
Photography Group in the lobby of
the Kahn building on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The reception will be from 2:30-4:30
p.m., immediately following the con-
cert.
