Support Group

An eight-week bereavement support
group sponsored by Congregation
Beth Abraham Hillel Moses will begin
7:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.
The group will be led by Robert
Hack. The first session topic will be
"Getting to know one another and a -
discussion of each participant's los."

The Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish
Community Center will show two
videos about Jerusalem. "Wake the
Dawn, the Story of Jerusalem's Holy
Temple" and "Jerusalem: Soul of a
People" will be shown at 12:45 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 28. There is no charge.
The Yiddish Culture Club will be
held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2. There is
no charge.
The fall holidays Jerome Glassman
party will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.
Refreshments will be served; the Sam
Barnett Orchestra will play. Tickets
are required and will be issued at the
front desk.

The Institute for Retired Professionals
will present its seventh annual Photo-
Art Show at the Kahn Jewish
Community Center from Oct. 1
through Oct. 15, and at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Community
Center from Oct. 19 through Oct.
30.
The public is invited to meet with
the IRP photographers at the opening
reception 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday,
Oct. 4, in the lobby of the Kahn
building. The exhibit includes pho-
tographs that group members have
taken on field trips as well as those
taken individually on travels or at spe-
cial events.
