dent of Temple Israel's Temple Treasures; (Front row) Milton Rose of Temple
Israel, and Max and June Weinberg of Shaarey Zedek — at the intercongrega-
tional seniors luncheon.

A musical program by Cantor Harold
Orbach highlighted the 12th annual
intercongregational seniors luncheon,
which drew seniors from various
streams of Judaism to Temple Israel
on Sept. 9.
The luncheon, hosted by the
Temple Treasures of Temple Israel,
brought together Jewish seniors from
across the area for an afternoon of
friendship, food and fun.
Other participants included the
Beth Am Seniors from Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses, the Beth Elders from

Temple Beth El, Chazakah from Adat
Shalom, Enhanced Generation from
Beth Shalom, Pace Setters from B'nai
David, Young at Heart from Beth
Achim and the Shaarey Zedek
Seniors.
The intercongregational senior
camaraderie was the brainchild of
June and Max Weinberg of Shaarey
Zedek 12 years ago. "These two won-
derful people were the spark that got
all the congregations together," said
Flo Goldman, president of Temple
Israel's Temple Treasures.
