JACK LAPIDES, 84, of Livonia, died
Sept. 20. Mr. Lapides was the owner
of Jack's Wholesales Meats. He was a
World War II hero (42nd combat
infantry division) who was stationed
in North Africa, Sicily, Southern
\France and Germany and was awarded
a Silver Star.
Mr. Lapides is survived by his son
and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and
Rocalle Lapides of Farmington Hills;
grandson, Justin Lapides. He was the
beloved husband of the late Ann Lapi-
des.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to a

EVELYN S. MUNSON, 88, of
Southfield, died Sept. 14.
Mrs. Munson is survived by her
husband, Jack Munson; daughter and
